DEU 4:10
[Specially] the day that thou stoodest before the LORD thy God in Horeb,
when the LORD said unto me, Gather me the people together, and I will make
them hear my words, that they may learn to fear me all the days that they
shall live upon the earth, and [that] they may teach their children.

HISTORY
Prior to 1989, there was not a
non-church sponsored Christian private school in Cleburne, Texas, a
community of 22,000 with more than 58 churches serving approximately
60% of those who regularly attended church. In 1989, three men hosted
a city-wide meeting to explore the possibilities for such an
educational facility. That meeting generated the impetus to open the
doors for such a school in the fall of 1989. The funds needed were
underwritten by the three founding families of the Cleburne Community
Christian School (CCCS).
LOCATIONS
Thirty-seven students enrolled in
preschool through fourth grades at CCCS that first year. Faculty and
students initially met at the First Christian Church on Nolan River
Road, but increasing enrollments made it necessary to seek other
facilities. By securing a lease on the Family Life Center at Cleburne
Bible Church, the school has had adequate room to expand and increase
student population.
OUR FUTURE...
Consequently, an ambitious
program of expansion has been undertaken in order to meet the needs of
the growing numbers of families who seek the offerings of CCCS. CCCS
acquired a 21-acre tract of land on Country Club Road in Cleburne as
the site of our new campus. We have vacated the rented facilities at
the Family Life Center where our students have attended school for the
past several years and now have facilities established on our own
property.
STATEMENT OF FAITH
 |
We believe the Bible to be the
only inspired, infallible, authoritative Word of God.
|
 |
We believe there is one God,
eternally existent in three persons: the Father, the Son, and the
Holy Spirit. |
 |
We believe in the deity of
Christ, in His virgin birth, in His sinless life, in His miracles,
in His vicarious and atoning death, in His resurrection from the
dead, in His ascension to the right hand of the Father, and in His
personal return to power and glory. |
 |
We believe in the necessity of
regeneration by the Holy Spirit, for "all have sinned and come short
of the glory of God." (Roman 3:23) |
 |
We believe in the resurrection
of both the saved and the lost; the saved unto the resurrection of
life and the lost unto the resurrection of damnation.
|
 |
We believe in the spiritual
unity of believers in Jesus Christ. |
MISSION STATEMENT
The mission of Cleburne Community
Christian School is to provide a quality education compatible with the
Word of God, enabling our students to increase in wisdom, stature, and
favor with God and man.
INTERDENOMINATIONAL POSITION OF CCCS
Cleburne Community Christian
School is an independent, non-profit corporation not affiliated with
any church. CCCS is dedicated to establishing and maintaining
non-sectarian, interdenominational, Christian education in the Johnson
County area.
Cleburne Community Christian
School presents the following offering:
 |
A strong Christian academic
curriculum in traditional classrooms. |
 |
A quiet, disciplined learning
environment in which reverence for God, country, and family is
valued and taught. |
 |
Programs designed to develop
the physical and creative potential of the students. |
In our desire to maintain the
interdenominational position of the school, it is necessary that we
remind staff, faculty, parents, and students that the following areas
are left to the teaching done at home and church:
-
Church government- authority,
discipline.
-
Time and mode of baptism.
-
Time of the Rapture.
-
Second work of grace- baptism
of the Holy Spirit.
-
Sinless Perfection.
-
Gifts of the Spirit- tongues,
interpretation of tongues, healing, miracle working, prophecy,
discerning of spirits.
We desire to remain united in the
salvation and love of Christ, avoiding the dissension of
denominational problems |

| CCCS is in need of
volunteers. Volunteers can serve in many different ways at CCCS. There
is a constant need for participation at all levels. Please contact the
school office if you feel that you can serve in any capacity. |
